❤ এটি জৈন সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য সবচেয়ে পবিত্র এবং শ্রদ্ধেয় স্থানগুলির মধ্যে একটি। তারা একে সামেদ শিখর বলে। এটি একটি প্রধান তীর্থস্থান। জৈনদের 24 তীর্থঙ্করের মধ্যে 20 জন পার্শ্বনাথ পাহাড়ে নির্বাণ লাভ করেছিলেন।

পাহাড়ে শিখরজি জৈন মন্দির রয়েছে, একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তীর্থক্ষেত্র বা জৈন তীর্থস্থান। প্রতিটি তীর্থঙ্করের জন্য পাহাড়ে একটি মন্দির (গোমতী বা টঙ্ক) রয়েছে।

জৈন মন্দিরটি মগধ রাজা বিম্বিসার দ্বারা নির্মিত বলে মনে করা হয়। কানিংহাম গ্রামে পাথরের কাঠামোর কথা উল্লেখ করেছেন, যেটিকে তিনি খ্রিস্টপূর্ব ২য় শতাব্দীর একটি বৌদ্ধ স্তূপের অবশিষ্টাংশ হিসেবে বর্ণনা করেছেন। যদিও সাইটটি কানিংহাম দ্বারা উল্লেখ করা হয়েছিল, আজ পর্যন্ত কোন খনন হয়নি।

ভগবান পরশনাথের একটি প্রাচীন মূর্তি পালগঞ্জের উপত্যকায় অবস্থিত। মূর্তিটি 2500 বছরের পুরনো বলে ধারণা করা হয়।

সামেদ শিকারজি, পরশনাথ, জেলা গিরিডিধ, ঝাড়খণ্ড হল প্রধান জৈন তীর্থস্থান। শুধু আধ্যাত্মিক স্থান নয়, পরশনাথ পাহাড়ের সবুজ দৃশ্যও খুব সুন্দর।

একজনকে দিনে মোট 12000টি ধাপ সহ প্রায় 27 কিলোমিটার কভার করতে হবে যার মধ্যে রয়েছে 9 কিলোমিটার পাহাড়ে আরোহণ, 9 কিলোমিটার পাহাড়ের উপরে অনেক জৈন মন্দির রয়েছে এবং 9 কিলোমিটার পিছনে।

ভোর ৪টায় শুরু হয়ে বিকেল ৫টায় শেষ হয়।

পাহাড়ের পাদদেশে অনেক জৈন মন্দির এবং থাকার জায়গাও রয়েছে।

প্রায় 7 কিমি দূরে পালগঞ্জে একটি পুরানো জৈন মন্দির রয়েছে যেখানে 4 শতাব্দী পুরানো মূর্তি রয়েছে।

স্থানটি পরশনাথ স্টেশন থেকে প্রায় 15 কিমি দূরে। স্টেশনের কাছেই থাকার ব্যবস্থা সহ জৈন মন্দির রয়েছে।

This is one of the most holy and revered sites for the Jain community. They call it Sammed Sikhar. It is a major pilgrimage site. Out of 24 Tirthankaras of Jains, 20 got nirvana on Parshvnatha Hills.

On the mountain, there are the Shikharji Jain temples, an important tirthakshetra or Jain pilgrimage site.For each Tirthankara there is a shrine (gumti or Tonk) on the hill.

The Jain temple is believed to be constructed by Magadha King Bimbisara. Cunningham noted stone structures in the village, which he describes as a remnant of a Buddhist stupa datable to the 2nd century BCE. Although the site was noted by Cunningham, no excavation has occurred to date.

An Ancient idol of Lord Parasnath is located in the valley at Palganj. The idol is believed to be 2500 years old.

Samed Shikarji, Parasnath, Dist Girididh, Jharkhand is major Jain pilgrimage destination . Not only the spritual place , green sceenary of parasnath hill is also very beautiful.

One has to cover around 27 Km with total of 12000 steps in a day which includes 9 km climbing on the hill , 9 km area over hill having so many jain temples and 9 km back.

Started early at 4 AM and finished by 5 PM.

There are many Jain temples and accommodation places at the hill-foot also.

Around 7 KM is the Palganj having a old Jain temple with 4 century old Statue.

Place is around 15 Km from Parasnath station. Near the station also there are Jain temples with stay arrangements.
