Despite the conventional setting, she had early esoteric experiences with non-physical beings and a deep interest in spiritual and extraterrestrial topics, often discussed with her mother. Sheila's spiritual awakening was gradual, starting in her youth and expanding significantly during a student exchange program in Mexico, where she visited Mayan ruins and felt a strong connection to past lives.

She explains the concept of a galactic shaman, a role she embodies without formal training but through life experiences and guidance from non-physical beings and a shamanic partner. A galactic shaman works with higher frequencies and codes, bridging traditional shamanic practices with galactic knowledge.

The episode also touches on embodied ascension, a process of raising both consciousness and physical body frequencies. Waxela emphasizes the importance of grounding spiritual experiences into the body to achieve integrated physical and spiritual well-being. She incorporates biohacking—a method to optimize physical health and spiritual practices—into her teachings to support this alignment.
