For this week's #FocusOnSound video, we have a comparison between a Music Man and Sterling model that we love dearly: the Valentine. Signature guitar of James Valentine from Maroon guitar, the Valentine focuses on a simple, no-frills, yet quality design. At two different price points, the USA-made Music Man, and the Far Eastern-made Sterling equivalent, both share plenty of common ground; yet there are some differences that set them apart. Namely, pickups, timbers and some of the hardware - all of which is just a little more refined on the Music Man guitar.

Here, we present both guitars in a back-to-back comparison, where you can hear them side by side, and see for yourself which one you'd rather get.
