Cycling advocacy in a car-centric city like Brisbane is a long game. It takes a long time to get a win, so when you do, you need to celebrate it!
And we did have a win this month with Main Roads Minister Mark Bailey committing the first $12.5 million towards a Moggill Road Cycleway - 11 years after the death of Richard Pollett:

It was also another month of pushing back against Brisbane City Council's nonsensical decision to cancel Stage 5 of the North Brisbane Bikeway. Brisbane North BUG held another family ride, and it was attended by the Main Roads Minister, who had strong words for Council's lack of action.
