Formula 1 has changed a lot in 2026. Completely new technical regulations have transformed the way the drivers and teams approach races, and of said teams and drivers we have some new names on the grid, as well as the return of a few old ones. In the past, I have made videos ranking the debut races of the 2024 and 2025 grids, so I thought I’d do it again for 2026 grid.
They’re ranked not just by how they performed on track themselves, but how the weekend went as a whole; whether they ran into misfortune with mechanical problems, got penalised for their own errors or those of the team, or got caught up in accidents that were or weren’t their fault. Think of it also as a sequel to last week’s video: ranking every 2026 driver’s junior career.
