Jonathan is a native to the Charlotte, NC area. He started his professional sales career selling phone services across the Carolinas with BellSouth Telecom. It was here that he found a real passion for helping by connecting people with solutions that best fit their needs.
Jonathan stepped away from BellSouth to pursue his passion for full-time real estate in 2006. He had grown up watching his grandfather succeed in the business. And he knew that it would never be a better time to get involved in the business. Unfortunately, shortly after jumping into the best market in history, real estate quickly turned into the worst market since the great depression. You could look at it as extremely poor timing or fantastic timing to learn a lot of lessons. Let’s go with the latter.

Jonathan took his licks and kept on ticking. He spent the next several years working for a local builder and fine tuning his craft of learning how to market real estate. In 2015, he launched a brand new real estate company called Hornet Realty. On a more personal level, Jonathan is married to the love of his life and has three small children (who are quickly becoming three big children). His hobbies consist of spending time with his kids and finding ways to get them involved in his labor of love, real estate. He operates off the saying “if you do what you love for a living, you never have to work a day in your life.” To him, helping a first-time buyer find their first perfect home is not work. Helping a seller stage their house to get top dollar is not work. And helping dreamers design their dream home and see it constructed is not work. This is Jonathan doing what he loves.
