Here’s what the ATS is checking for: 🔹 Correct tickets & licenses listed clearly If your RIIs, VOCs, and high-risk tickets aren’t in an easy-to-read section, the system won’t pick them up. 🔹 Relevant FIFO/Mining keywords If you aren’t matching keywords from the job ad (machines, site experience, software, tasks), the ATS marks you as “not relevant.” 🔹 Clean, simple formatting No text boxes, no fancy templates, no columns. The simpler the layout, the easier it is for the ATS to read. 🔹 Word count that actually works Too short = not enough data Too long = system drops off Aim for clear, concise bullet points with measurable tasks. 🔹 Correct page length 2-3 pages max for entry-level mining or operator roles.
