Bronc Riding Set 2 - 2021 Colorado Championship Ranch Rodeo | Friday

This was the second set of bronc riding of the first rodeo of the #WRCA qualifying ranch rodeos held at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Arena in Hugo, Colorado. #WRCA #RanchRodeo #BroncRiding #RanchBroncs #SaddleBroncs #Rodeo

Bronc Riding in this event uses Ranch Bronc riding rules where there are no points given for marking out, the rider must use a western ranch saddle and is allowed to grab onto the saddle horn.

Fourteen ranch teams compete in two rodeos on Friday and Saturday. The winning team is automatically eligible to compete in the WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo held during November in Amarillo, Texas.

In March of 1995, a group of people from across the western United States created the Working Ranch Cowboys Association. WRCA produces the World Championship Ranch Rodeo as a means to showcase the skills of the working ranch cowboy and to raise funds for the WRCA Foundation (WRCF).
