A demo of lyrical scratch runs, sing with your hands, don't do robotic basic patterns. Focus on expression don't get too caught up in chasing the latest "must have" scratch pattern just because someone named it and made a tutorial.
Another way of looking at it: make your hands dance, do not let them do aerobics.
