(Truck hesitated to start because battery had been disconnected)

This video shows the updated version of my previous setup with the Flow-master Super 44 muffler. I have now cut the exhaust behind the axle, removing the original resonator and aftermarket tip. I then went to my local Auto-zone and bought, one 2.25-2.5 inch 90• elbow, one 2.5-2.5 inch 45• elbow, and the last piece is a 2.5-2.5 inch 90• elbow. Holding all these parts together is three exhaust clamps and that’s it. The final thing I did was put a hose clamp around each of the exhaust hangars to remove any rattling sounds and keep everything tight. On the last hangar I had to add in a spare rubber exhaust hangar in between the hose clamp to prevent it from rattling against the frame. After doing all of this, I can say that the resonator delete paired with the Flow-master muffler is great! As far as sound it has changed but not too much, the tone is a little deeper, louder on idle and takeoff. The truck doesn’t really drone that bad which surprised me but when driving at certain speeds the bass the exhaust produces you can feel in your chest. I have noticed that the truck has a nice popcorn backfire whenever you rev it up. (Only when the engine is warm) You can’t really hear it in the video, but It also tends to pop when cruising and letting off the throttle, the pops are nice and subtle and don’t get too excessive. WOT pulls is where I have seen the biggest difference, the truck literally screams now and you can feel the change in how hard it pulls. This all cost me less than 40 dollars including the paint to get it matte black. I will be posting driving footage soon, if you have any questions or comments feel free to leave them below!
