RØDECaster Pro II: Developer Update
This interview talks about how the architecture for the RØDECaster Pro II is built on the linux platform and that it is effectively a computer that can be fully configurable. This explains why the RØDECaster Pro II is so flexible but also why the additional latency is not reported by the DAW.

Additional notes

RTL Utility
https://oblique-audio.com/rtl-utility...
RTL tests captured on a Apple M1 Max with 10-core CPU

XR18 Analog I/O latency is 0.8 ms including all channel and bus processing, excluding insert effects
Behringer Wing I/O latency (console input to output) is 1.0 ms

Things I realized or learned after making the video.
The UA arrow is Thunderbolt 3 not Thunderbolt 4 as stated in the video.
I've changed my MOTU buffer setting to 64/44.1 after seeing the RTL results to get closer to 5ms of latency when recording.
