Kindergarten Math 2.1, Same Number

In this lesson, we use matching and counting to compare sets with the same number. Same number prepares students to use the equal sign. We match two sets by making a line, to make pairs, to see if they have the same number. We match a set of horses to a set of apples. We match seats on a swing to a set of children. We count a set of children and a set of cookies to see if there is the same number.
