😁 It's ginger season, and the family gardens going off! Starting in mid january, the leaves of the ginger plant (olena too!) start to die back, signaling that these guys are ready to harvest!

Fresh ginger dosen't taste like what you're used to in the grocery store, it is much more mild. Think of thoes pieces of pink ginger you eat with sushi. Inorder to get that strong gingery taste that we use for soups, marinades and stir-frys, the ginger needs to "cure" in a cool dry place for a couple more weeks.

We are excited to share more about the how to grow, harvest, and even make farm to table food from our family farm.
