Hot off his blistering Intention & Surrender release in April, Selective Response returns with, No Love Only Pleasure, an EP built for the summer club and festival season. While known for dark and distorted soundscapes, Selective Response flexes some musical muscle and takes the label's 20th release in a fun and uplifting direction. That said, rest assured that the energy and rhythm he's known for are at the forefront of the EP.

Lead track No Love Only Pleasure harkens back to early rave sounds - a big piano-style lead, some breakbeats, and a cheeky vocal over sharp thumping drums. A summer anthem, plain and simple.

The b-side, No Sudden Movements, carries on the fun, uplifting theme but takes a slightly more DJ-tool route with a no-nonsense driving bassline, snappy percussion, and funkified groove. These tracks have become staples in his sets.
