At least two protesters were killed overnight at an anti-coup protest in Myanmar's commercial capital Yangon.
According to the country's local media news on Saturday, police opened fire on a crowd outside the Tharketa police station.
The protesters had gathered there to call for the release of people arrested earlier.
This came after a growing movement on social media,... calling on people to join the anti-coup protests,... while marking the anniversary of the death of a student killed by security forces in 1988.
This brings the death toll of the country's recent brutal crackdown to at least 72 people.
