Nez0's Bad Shoppe @ Strickly Sidewayz: Yokomo MD 1.0 Shakedown Out Of Box

Описание к видео Nez0's Bad Shoppe @ Strickly Sidewayz: Yokomo MD 1.0 Shakedown Out Of Box

First drive of Yokomo's 2022 designed chassis the MD 1.0 aka "Master Drift". The manual's settings for the chassis are quite mild compared to factory settings of YD-2's however the chassis is very smooth on first lapping. Steering geometry has lots of lock to offer even with the stoppers installed. The chassis has good side bite and weight shift with the standard #200 & #300 shock oil. It is very easy to drift with low throttle and will glide through corners with casual inputs. When you switch yourself to attack drift mode the chassis in out of box setting will not overly reward you at high angle however you can tell it really wants to live at the high drift angle. Overall impression is very good and I am eager to tune this chassis to unleash more potential as I can feel it telling me "hurry up and apply the sauce already" :D When a body shell was installed the MD 1.0 became even more smooth and stable with casual driving inputs. So, is it worth it? It has big tuning potential and drift great but the price tag is a touch on the expensive side. I will say its 50/50 at this point since it is early days since this chassis's release. Shoutout to Bryan C. of Team Strickly Sidewayz for drifting the MD 1.0 in this video :D More videos to come with comparisons and deeper thoughts after tuning. Stay tuned! Enjoy the video! :D
