In Montreal there are many points to enjoy wonderful views. We were in the old port on the La Grande Roue de Montréal, at 60 m high it is Canada's largest Ferris wheel. Here you have a wonderful view of the St. Lawrence River, the surrounding area of Montreal and a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The journey time takes approx. 20 minutes.
If you want to see the panorama of the skyline from the other side, you can take the hop-on hop-off bus and get off at the Kondiaronk Belvedere, which is a terrace on the green Mont Royal with a view of the city and the river. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the bus stop. There are also other points on the hill where you can get a good overview of the 1976 Olympic Stadium, which can only be recommended if you are nearby...
