Different political figures are sometimes very careless in their statements, which has quite serious consequences in war situations.

In a conversation with The Armenian Report, information security specialist Samvel Martirosyan said presenting several important reasons for panic among the public in war situations.

"In many cases, ordinary people are accused of spreading panic, but many politicians, who, it seems, should be the most careful, make statements that create panic among the public," said Martirosyan.

One of the most common though is the misinformation that Azerbaijanis attempt to spread.
“Azerbaijanis, who register as Armenian users, or use hacked Armenian accounts, and start spreading alarming disinformation through Facebook Messenger, saying, for example, that some Armenian territory has been captured by Azerbaijanis, or the given area was subjected to a sabotage attack," explains Martirosyan.

According to him, panic is also created by people who have a fairly large audience and, without checking or using reliable sources, spread any information. This also spreads very quickly among the public, causing panic, which also very often has bad consequences.
