Sound Demo: Camac G-100 (EKO, Italy early 80's)

Here I present a rare Camac G-100. This extraordinary guitar was made for a short time by EKO in Italy in the early eighties. The client was the French harp manufacturer Camac. The guitar is equipped with DiMarzio pickups as stock. The arrangement of the pickups is unusual. A humbucker is positioned on the neck, the two single coils in the middle or at the bridge. The pickups can be switched on or off using three mini switches. The Camac G-100 was the top-line model of the G series, and that shows in the materials used in wood and hardware as well as the excellent workmanship. A fantastic instrument that meets professional requirements in all respects. Unfortunately, the G series was not a success at the time, and so both the models and the manufacturer have been somewhat forgotten in the minds of today's guitarists. It's a shame, because the Camac G-100 deserves more attention.
