Platoon, developed and released on the Commodore 64 by Ocean in 1988

Based on the movie of the same name, you take control of a squad of five soldiers on their mission in Vietnam. Each soldier can take upto 3 hits before dying and you can switch between them at any time. You need to fight your way through 4 levels each with a different play style keeping things interesting.

Its another Ocean game where they took each platform seriously and produced a good version on each of them. On the whole I found the C64 version easier than the Spectrum version, at least up until level 4 where the bullets seemed to move super fast on the c64 version and the hit detection sometimes felt less forgiving.
