In this video I show process for checking and adding brake fluid in BMW F30 F31 328i 330i 335i
Brake Fluid check steps:
Locate brake fluid reservoir. On most cars, the master cylinder is located at the back of the engine bay, on the driver's side. There's a reservoir above the cylinder
Locate Min and Max fluid level markers on brake reservoir. If the fluid is below Min marker you will need to add fluid as follow
Read reservoir cap and vehicle owner's manual for Brake Fluid Type for your vehicle, and Warnings
Clean dust from reservoir cap to prevent brake fluid contamination
Remove reservoir cap and add brake fluid
Brake fluid is a very corrosive - do not spill onto your vehicle
Add approved fluid type for your vehicle fluid. For my BMW F30 the recommended brake fluid is DOT4
Reinstall brake fluid reservoir cap
