Alfa Water - APN Filter

The APN is an automatic self-cleaning filter suitable for filtering water with organic or colloidal material.
The internal filtering cartridge consists of a stainless steel basket on which a polyester (PS) filtering tissue, a 3D filtering tissue or a stainless steel (SS2L) filtering mesh can be inserted. The filtration degrees are between 10 and 3000μm and the cartridge is cleaned internally by special pressurized nozzles (fed with an external clean water supply) connected to the central shaft driven by an electric motor.
During the cleaning phase, the APN filter is automatically emptied after closing the incoming water and the simultaneous opening of the valve that feeds the nozzles, which is feeded by a clean external surce of water.
The filter interrupts the flow of permeate for the entire washing cycle, however ensuring reduced times and water consumption in the drain.
