2013 Boys Lacrosse NYSPHSAA Class A Semi-Final: Ward Melville vs. Shenendehowa

On Wednesday, June 5th, Ward Melville (Section 11) faced Shenendehowa (Section 2) in a Boys Lacrosse New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class A Semi-Final. The game was played at Tenney Stadium on the campus of Marist College. After an even first quarter, Ward Melville outscored Shenendehowa 9-2 in the final three quarters for a 13-6 victory and advance to the Class A NYSPHSAA Championship at St. John Fisher College. Ward Melville was led by Jack Bruckner, who scored 5 goals and had 2 assists. Daniel Bucaro and Brendan Hegarty scored 3 goals each with Christian Mazzone adding a pair of goals to round out Ward Melville's scoring. Shenendehowa was led by Brian Rogers, who had 2 goals. Kyle Marr, Nick Arnold, D.J. Edick, and Tyler Olney each scored a goal for Shenendehowa.
