To create the expanded Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, we talked to parents and listened to children to find out what they would wish for most in a hospital. We asked our caregivers what would help them continue to deliver the very best care. These thoughts and ideas helped inspire the design of duPont Hospital for Children — an environment to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing of children.
