Ahead of an important Supreme Court session today, Divya Pharmacy and Patanjali Ayurved Ltd., led by Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, encounter legal consequences in Uttarakhand. The state government has canceled manufacturing permits for 14 items and lodged a criminal complaint against them for violating drug advertisement regulations. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has urged authorities to take action against Patanjali, citing breaches of the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act.
