CVR - 2015 Russian Air Force RF-95067 Accident

On June 4th, 2015, a SU-34 fighter of the Russian Air Force was approaching Buturlinovka Airport (Russia) to land after performing a training flight. The flight crew consisted of:
Flight Instructor
Trainee
Navigator

Possibly due to the trainees error, the approach was made at an unacceptably high speed of 370 k /h instead of the prescribed 270 km/h. When the aircraft approached the runway the captain began to give the command to set power to idle mode, but the action was delayed for several seconds.

As a result the aircraft landed at a speed of 350 km/h, after which it overran the runwau. For unknown reasons, the instructor began to turn the joystick to the left. The navigator reacted to this with the phrase "overrun only by straight!" to prevent a overturn, but it was too late. The Su-34 skidded at high speed and overturned.

The jet was slightly damaged and restored, the crew was not injured.
