MOST BEAUTIFUL AIRPORT in India? Kangra to Delhi Airport Flight

This video is about my travel experience from Kangra airport to Delhi. The Gaggal/Dharamshala airport officially known as Kangra airport is a regional airport in District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.

I feel this is one of the most beautiful airports in India. I had a great experience. The airport has features that give it a touch of Himachal, specially the two Kangra paintings, more of which can be added in my opinion. The airport is full of beauty and greenery. The whole Dhauladhar mountain range is visible from the airport which makes the scenery magical and extraordinary, but sadly it was not visible when I travelled as the sky was full of clouds.

The only thing I disliked was hiked prices of tickets. The ticket of this Kangra flight used to cost between Rs.1500 to 3000, for which I had to pay Rs. 8000. I think COVID might be the cause of this sudden hike. Let me know in the comments section if you know the reason for this price hike. I won't have bought the ticket at such high rate, but I had to travel urgently for some important work.

The aircraft used in this airport is small. I travelled in the Spicejet Bombardier Q400. I got a really good seat for which I am thankful to the staff member who issued this seat. The airplane was half empty, so I tried sitting on other seats but my seat had the best view :D. Almost every passenger got window seat as the flight was half empty. It is not usual though. This flight goes very crowded in the normal days. The possible reason for this might be the hiked ticket rates.

The view once you are in the air is breath-taking. You can literally see whole of the Kangra city from the top and it looks super beautiful. I felt like I was flying in heaven above the clouds. Travelling across the skies is a really delightful sight. The lovely clouds scatter light and paint the sky in varied colors.

It took one and a half hour(1.5 hours) to reach New Delhi from Kangra.
