• A Short highlight on her musical career.
Anuja Dyandeo Borude (age 20 years) hails from a Pimpri Chinchwad city of Maharashtra.
Currently pursuing her SYBA. Her family is devoted to the Varkari Sampradya, her father Shri Dnyandeo Borude is a harmonium player and also work in Jnana Prabodhini School from last 26 years. Anuja used to accompany her father to local kirtans and satsangs and took a liking for music and started learning Pakhawaj from the tender age of 8 years. With her interest in the Pakhawaj she learned bhajan baaj of Pakhawaj from Ashok Maharaj Panchal. At the age of 10 she was accepted as a disciple by world renowned Pakhawaj player Guruji Pandit Vasantraoji Ghodparkar of Nana Panse Gharana at Pune. Anuja is one of the fortunate student, who is able to learn classical Pakhawaj from Ghodparkarji till year 2011. From year 2014 Anuja is part of Gurukul of Well-known Drupad gayaki by Padmashree Gundech brothers at Bhopal. Currently she is a disciple of Pakhawaj exponent Pandit Akhilesh Gundecha of Kudausingh Gharana. She has participated on various platforms with Akhileshji at Aurangabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhopal, Varanasi, Delhi, Dhanbad, Gorakhpur, Hyderbad, Valsad, etc. Recently she performed at Women’s International Musical Festival held at London.
