Описание к видео Collaborative Partnerships Supporting Individuals with Co-Occurring Disorders

The complex needs of individuals experiencing mental health challenges alongside co-occurring substance use often require a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach and strong collaboration. To effectively support individuals where they are, CHCS has developed robust partnerships across multiple programs serving this population—both within CHCS and with community partners. The implementation of the CCBHC model of care is further strengthening these collaborations, enabling us to provide more comprehensive, compassionate, and effective supports that maximize opportunities for recovery.

Join us on Friday, December 5, for the next installment of the Governor Mills Opioid Response Monthly Seminar Series. This session will focus on these collaborations and feature insights from Leslie Lennig, LCSW, Clinical Director of Community Health and Counseling Services, and Brian Moynihan, LCPC, Manager of Specialized Community Services at Community Health and Counseling Services. The discussion will be moderated by Gordon Smith, Director of Opioid Response for the State of Maine.

Leslie Lennig is a clinical social worker with years of experience working with diverse populations, and provides management and clinical oversight of the implementation of CHCS’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.

Brian Moynihan is a clinical counselor with years of experience working in diverse settings and populations including community and correctional settings including extensive work with individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health needs.

These webinars will be held on the first Friday of every month until the Governor’s 8th Annual Opioid Response Summit in Bangor on July 16, 2026.
