This week we’re chatting to Kenzie about her journey from art enthusiast at school to finding a career in teaching production makeup for TV and film, then pivoting after covid hit and working around her new life as a single mum.

Kenzie’s story is fascinating already, for someone still so young. She’s currently wrestling with the imposter syndrome we’re all familiar with when it comes to selling something we’ve made with our hands. Now stocked in 4 On The High Street (which we talked about here and here) she’s found the confidence to promote her commissions as well as her prints but the, ‘how to value my own work’ dilemma persists.

We also talked about how she finds time to create from home as a single mum as well as going back to school to complete her degree and struggling with dyslexia. If you’re looking for some inspiration today, Kenzie has the beginnings of a success story that may well trigger a spark.
