Super Bowl Champion, 2022 NFL Hall of Fame Finalist, & Fitness Entrepreneur DeMarcus Ware comes back for his second appearance on INTERSECTIONS, this time sitting across from Academy Award Winning Filmmaker and Animator, Brandon Oldenburg. They discuss Mickey Mouse, Red Ranger, and DeMarcus & Brandon's pivotal roles in bringing their teams together to reach the pinnacle of their respective industries.

Brandon Oldenburg:

Oldenburg, a native of Fort Worth, attended the Ringling School of Design and worked as an illustrator for publications such as the Dallas Observer, a puppeteer, and animator for Reel FX Creative Studios where he contributed to commercials, series, and feature films like “Spy Kids” before forming his own film studio, Moonbot, with William Joyce. They two created an animated short film based on Joyce’s screenplay “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore” and won the Academy Award for “Best Animated Short” in 2012. This year, Oldenburg’s newest animated and live-action series, “Lost Ollie” will debut on Netflix with Mary J. Blige and Leslie Odom Jr.

DeMarcus Ware:

Ware, a native of Auburn, Alabama, battled back from impossible odds from injuries during his time on the field to record an NFL record number of sacks for the Dallas Cowboys and win Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos in 2016. He committed to help others achieve their highest sense of self and wellness through his own brand of body resistance conditioning workouts which he teaches at his gym 3Volt Fitness in Trophy Club. He recently worked with Avondale to donate 1500 pairs of shoes to children in Northwest ISD. This year, Ware was named a finalist for the 2022 Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.
