The American Urological Association (AUA) develops clinical practice guidelines for urological diseases and conditions. The AUA's guidelines provide up-to-date, evidence-based statements and expert clinical opinion, to help practicing urologists and other health care providers deliver optimal patient care. All AUA guidelines are developed using an efficient nine-stage process.
