Governments have already declared global war on cybercrime, but it is increasingly affecting us as individuals too. Today, cybercrime is estimated to cost around $300 billion a year – twice the amount of the drugs economy. It is not just about countries using cyberspace to attack each other, but hackers attacking unsuspecting victims in their homes. Philippe Trochaud, the author of a book tackling this issue, talks to Perspective us about how we, as civilians, can behave to avoid being targeted.
