Peregrin Took, "Pippin," Painting Tutorial

"Home is behind, the world ahead..."

Today we continue our journey into all things Hobbity with our continuation of our Quest of the Ringbearer preparation, none other than the most mischievous and loveable Hobbit of our merry band. Mr Peregrin Took, Pippin if you will himself!

We're continuing to explore the original Fellowship of the Ring box set as these were the classic sculpts that truly captured the imaginations of many a Tolkien wargaming fan back in the day!

Here we'll talk you through how to create the vibrant reds and blues that Pippin is seen with throughout the films, mirroring the aesthetics of Shire garb whilst maintaining an earth, grounded appearance. Whilst also being able to tie these colours together in an effective way which unifies the models colour palette and truly captures the character of this mischievous and brave halfling.
