Translate the following passage into English:
রামায়ণ ও মহাভারত আমাদের প্রত্যেকেরই পড়া উচিত। এগুলি শুধু প্রাচীন ভারতের ইতিহাস নয়, ইহাদের ভিতরে এমন সব শিক্ষা আছে যাহা সর্বদেশের, সর্বকালের পক্ষেই মূল্যবান। কিন্তু দুঃখের বিষয় আজকালকার ছেলেমেয়েরা এই পুস্তক দুটি সম্বন্ধে বিশেষ কিছু জানে না। তাহারা অন্যদেশের অনেক কথাই মুখস্ত করে কিন্তু নিজের দেশের এই দুইটি অমূল্য সম্পদ সম্বন্ধে অজ্ঞ। দেশের শিক্ষাবিভাগীয় কর্তৃপক্ষগণও এ বিষয়ে অনেকটা উদাসীন। তাঁহারা এই পুস্তক দু'খানি জনপ্রিয় করিবার চেষ্টা করিলে দেশের মঙ্গল সাধন করিবেন।
