Emerald Studios THASSOS honest TOUR and REVIEW| TUI HOLIDAYS| GREECE

This is my brutally honest hotel tour and review of the 2* Emerald Studios in Thassos, Greece which was booked under TUI holidays in July 2022.

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 teenage girls) in July 2022 for our first TUI holiday and holiday to Greece. Thassos is an Island in the North Aegean Islands of Greece and we stayed at one of the most popular areas named Golden Beach which is situated on a huge bay surrounded by green mountains.

The hotel is classified as a 2* hotel and is one of the largest hotels in this area of Golden Beach. The selling point of Emerald Studios is 100% the BEAUTIFUL panoramic views of the bay which every single hotel room has. It is also one of the only hotels in golden beach with a pool and is very popular amongst the Brits (Thassos tourism is heavily Eastern European compared to British).

I hope this video represents the Emerald hotel in a realistic way by showing that yes, it is a 2 star hotel, yes it is old fashioned, yes could do with a lot of refurbishment BUT the views are stunning!

EXTRA INFORMATION
If you're staying with young children, I don't believe there is any rooms with enough room for 4 people to stay
*The hill is HORRIBLE and brutal however, when speaking to a lovely older couple, they found car hire worked for them
*Bring bug cream because you will get bitten!
*There is no food or shop at the hotel so you have to go to the town in order to buy anything but bar drinks

DISCLAIMER
This is an honest review that we had as a family experience when travelling in July '22 and by no means wouldn't recommend this hotel HOWEVER, in line to what we're used to, this hotel is very basic and traditional. Many people really enjoy this traditional and old fashioned feel of the Emerald however, as a young family, we weren't that keen. Please bear in mind other peoples reviews on top of ours! Thank you :)
