I wrote this song for my bestie, she's legitimately the coolest human you will ever meet, and one of the most driven, hardworking and inspiring people I've ever met. (she also makes for an awesome tequila buddy!)
There are some people in this world who you just click with, and I think that moment was when I dragged her out to a rave in Sydney (or was it Singapore?) and she still wanted to be friends with me. Even though we are constantly living far away from each other we still always find the time to talk to each other, and I know she's there for me as I'm there for her. That's what I call true friendship.

The song is about being empowered to become anything and everything you've always dreamed about, taking that leap and making good on keeping promises you've made to yourself.
I loved writing this (it was written over the span of around 8 years!) and look forward even more, to recording it in the studio to the produced edit!
