Visiting friends who live in Wales?...you must take a kayak (or canoe). Luckily I had a 2 hour window to sneak a paddle in, and they're are very understanding people.
The river was low, a 5 on the TNR Gauge at Mile End Mill, at this level the bottom wave flushing through, so I had the idea of a quick lap. With travelling time, getting changed etc...that meant I had 1 hour for the lap.
