⚙️ Trophy Overview

Operation Windwalker is one of the three major story operations required to complete Just Cause 4. This operation focuses on Rico teaming up with Cesar, a brilliant yet eccentric scientist, to take down the Black Hand’s tornado generator and reclaim Solís from their control.

Throughout this operation, you’ll help Cesar construct a storm-chasing vehicle, gather supplies, distract enemy forces, and ultimately control the tornado weapon itself in a spectacular finale.

Upon completing the final mission, Operation Windwalker, you’ll automatically unlock the “What If I... Dive Down?” trophy. 🏆

🌪️ Operation Windwalker Mission List

1️⃣ Cesar’s Theory

Rescue Cesar and learn about his theories on weather manipulation.

Introduces the concept of the Black Hand’s tornado generator.

2️⃣ Windwalker: The Stormchaser

Assist in constructing a custom vehicle designed to withstand and chase extreme storms.

3️⃣ Operation Windwalker: Setup

Transport supplies and prepare the storm chaser for deployment.

Involves convoy escort and light combat.

4️⃣ Windwalker: Diversion

Create chaos to draw enemy attention away from your main operation zone.

A high-action mission with plenty of opportunities for destruction.

5️⃣ Operation Windwalker (Final Mission)

The main event — Rico must destroy multiple Black Hand wind cannons to guide the tornado.

After disabling them, defend your own Army wind cannons to grow the tornado’s strength.

Once it’s large enough, wingsuit directly into the tornado and capture the core in an epic cinematic sequence.

Completing this mission unlocks the trophy.

💡 Tips & Strategy

💡 Tornado Mechanics:
Flying or driving during tornado missions can be tricky — use Rico’s grappling hook and wingsuit to navigate efficiently.

💡 Wind Cannon Targets:
There are several cannons to destroy — focus on the marked objectives, as reinforcements are endless. Explosives or vehicle-mounted weapons work best.

💡 Defensive Phase:
When protecting your army’s wind cannons, use tethered vehicles or booster mods to block incoming enemies and buy time.

💡 The Wingsuit Finale:
As soon as the tornado reaches full size, you’ll see a prompt to wingsuit into it. Stay stable in midair, follow the current upward, and steer toward the tornado’s core for the final sequence.
