Nandi hills situated at about 60 KMs from Bangalore is a perfect weekend drive to enjoy a beautiful Sunrise.
Timing: 6AM - 6 PM

From the parking to the view point you will have to be taking a bus or walk about 2 KMS. Overall it is a very nice, serene and relaxing picnic spot for families to enjoy a nice weekend. You can also view sunset in the evening from the Nandi hill top. There is also KSTDC lodge - Mayura Pine top available for people who want to stay.
