A bottleship with LEDs. Mostly I was in it for the lighthouse, but since a lighthouse all by itself, seemed a bit dull; eventhough the fading LED is extremely cool. So why not add a ship from scratch, toothpics an old shopping back and some string?

This is basically every single step that was necessary to make this bottle-ship-project a success. Not shown are of course repeated steps (like the sails) and steps gone wrong. Almost half of the wooden parts you see had to be glued at some point. But it all worked out ok I think.

Best thing: total cost (not counting the 21 year old Glenlivet Single Malt Whisky) is at around 20€ give or take a few. Stretched over 7 months makes an incredibly cheap project.
