Isabella chose Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) for its international aspects and convenient location near Belgium and Germany. She finds the informal relationship between students, teachers, and staff to be a valuable aspect of the university. The small-scale nature of BUas helps Isabella navigate her studies, as she feels familiar with the faces around her. Despite not knowing everyone, she feels welcomed and part of a close-knit community.

As an international student, Isabella appreciated the high percentage of international students in her class, with seven out of twenty students coming from different countries. This diversity allowed her to interact with classmates easily and in a friendly manner. Isabella emphasizes the importance of building a strong network with fellow students and companies, which BUas facilitates.

Isabella believes that Breda University of Applied Sciences is an international-friendly environment that fosters growth and innovation. She highlights the value of an English track for Dutch students as it allows for cultural exchange and interaction with people from various European and global backgrounds.

For new students, Isabella advises taking their time to settle in and not to stress too much initially. Although the beginning may be overwhelming with new information, things eventually fall into place. She suggests experiencing the intro week and embracing the excitement and challenges of meeting deadlines, as they contribute to personal and academic growth.
