Shadowrun - SNES - Morgue Theme - VGM Synth Cover

Описание к видео Shadowrun - SNES - Morgue Theme - VGM Synth Cover

Something a little different! Here's a game with a great dystopian/cyberpunk vibe and some really cool music! I'll be honest I haven't spent much time with this game but I thought it'd be fun to do a cover of the theme from the beginning of the game in the morgue. I find myself doing mostly Japanese game covers but this and my latest Killer Instinct one are kind of opening my eyes to how atmospheric and moody these western developed games music can be. We'll see what I come up with next, I guess!

I wanted to keep a cyberpunk vibe with this one using a lot of FM synth sounds and chorus (because face it, stuff with chorus sounds futuristic, ok?). The Korg Opsix came in handy for that and you can hear it throughout almost all of this track! I also used the Microfreak for backing the lead and some FM bass sounds. I wanted everything to sound futuristic or just weird to try to keep that whole cyberpunk aesthetic going.

Hope you guys like my cover! Thanks for the support! Hit the bell!!

Gear Stuff:

No midi rips or piano rolls, just my bad playing recorded straight into Audacity
