A special team of the Crime Branch will question actor Dileep again in connection with the actress assault case. The latest development in the case came on Tuesday that the probe team has decided to question Dileep. The actor who is named as accused in the case after the court quashed his plea seeking cancellation of a further investigation into the case earlier. The actor will be served with a notice to appear for questioning in the coming days. The probe team has also decided to use the existing evidence while interrogation in the coming days. The focus of the questioning would be on director Balachandra Kumar's statement, in which he made serious claims against the actor. He claimed that Dileep was shown video of the incident on the actress. Dileep was also accused of attempting to manipulate the witnesses. Dileep was also booked by the Crime Branch for conspiring to endanger the investigators in the actress attack case. Crime Branch has stated that cyber specialist Sai Shankar assisted Dileep in erasing the data on Dileep's phone. The court has asked the crime branch to compile the details related to the actress attack case and submit the report by April 14. Meanwhile, the trial court will consider the case on April 18. The high court will consider today the anticipatory bail plea of cyber hacker Sai Sankar in the case of conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress. The plea said the probe team is threatening to testify against Dileep's lawyers and as there is a possibility of arrest requests to grant him anticipatory bail. The plea alleged that the crime branch is harassing him and his family in the name of investigation. Sai Sankar approached the high court seeking anticipatory bail after the investigating officers issued a notice asking him to appear for interrogation. The court will consider today another plea filed by Sai Sankar alleging police harassment.
