One more run at ch30, but this time we're going to see how going through a huge army of Steel Knights fares.

At this point, Steel Knights are very similar to Alvaro's Harbingers stat wise aside from speed. Skill wise, Steel Knights are annoying on their own merits due to Nullify. If I could go slow here, the high defenses wouldn't be a problem to deal with.

The main objective is to open up the throne room where Galahad is within 20 turns. There's a ton of locked gates along the way that can't be unlocked by normal means. You'll have to unlock them by killing specific boss marked Steel Knights, then having a unit end their turn on the now vacant throne. That'll unlock some gates on the opposite side of the map (So any thrones in the west will open up some gates in the east and vice versa). The throne room requires two people on the nearby thrones at the same time to open up.

While I'm not doing secret lunatic objectives on this file since its the bad ending route, I'm still going to respect the requirements to satisfy it here, meaning I need to open the throne room by turn 15. Actually rather tight, given how nasty Steel Knights are. Thankfully, I have a few units with me that can cut down Steel Knights dangerously fast.

First up is the obvious choice, Albert. He might have low defense, but anything he touches with Nightbringer is going to die if he crits. He's also the eastern team's healer and Rescue shenanigans user.

Next...it may be the bad ending route, but I'm not going without my main asskicking badass Crixus who got a whole bunch of stat boosters and the random skills from the Tomb of Horrors events. Those random skills are Breath of Life (Heals anyone in a 2 tile range of Crixus for 20% of their max hp after he attacks) and Ready Stance (+4 defense & speed if an enemy initiates combat). Honestly, pretty good skills all around for my man.

Finally...we have what might be the closest thing to a tactical Nova Strike nuke for this run. Remember Runa? She's here and she's got a literal nuke in...Voidflare. Not even lying there. That Darkholm blood from her father really does wonders.

Oh, and she's proudly showing off how to abuse killing off certain party members to learn more skills. She got Sure Shot from an A rank support with Kurt, then he got offed so I could make room to get an A rank support with Hailey to get her Quick Draw skill. She gets off a crit and the enemy's going to be dead or damn near it. Let's not even talk about the earth shattering kaboom that'd be a Sure Shot crit with Voidflare...on an enemy Terror.

With that...not much else to talk about. There are four chests with some very nice loot in them (Two Eternal Seals, Hammerne, and Boots), a secret event that brings in another Steel Knight who drops a third Eternal Seal, and the fact even the mighty Galahad couldn't tank two Voidflare shots.

Once Galahad goes down, he says some things before passing away. The rest of the story is the same as it was normally with Jakka reuniting with his family.

That's all for this chapter, but before we close up shop and head to the final chapter, there's two last things to mention.

First...Jakka's Demon Spear he got from taking the deal with Asmodeus in ch17. While the weapon cuts his luck by 30, it provides immunity to crits and devil reversal effects. He even gets the passive that gives any attacker his devil reversal.

Oh yes, the Demon Spear is 1-2 range, infinite uses, provides all non hp & luck stats an extra 5 point boost, has 30 crit, and has the Lifetaker skill when wielded.

So...what's the downside to this? Asmodeus did mention something about collecting payment when Jakka's quest for revenge ends. Well, there IS a reason this is a bad ending playthrough. We'll see that later.

Finally...if you bring Colter & Aubrey to this chapter, you can have one of them initiate a chat which will give Colter the Lethality skill.
