The mesmerizing design of the Ministry of Magic was inspired by some rather unexpected sources. Production designer Stuart Craig revealed that he drew inspiration from early London Underground stations, where architects attempted to imitate classical architecture using ceramic tile. But that's not all! He also found inspiration in a Burger King on Tottenham Court Road in London, which boasts a fantastic Victorian façade that embodies the essence of the era.
