Today is the 26th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death. He has always been an inspiration of mine. He spoke up for the disenfranchised and the persecuted; The liner notes to their album, “In Utero,” reflected that sentiment: “If you’re a sexist, racist, homophobe or basically an a--hole, don’t buy this CD. I don’t care if you like me, I hate you.” I was apprehensive to cover this song because I love the original so much but I wanted to give a nod to one of the greats, hope I did it justice.
