ELTON Hercules JOHN, nasceu em Londres em 25.03.1947.
Pianista, cantor e compositor, ELTON JOHN tem mais de 40 álbuns produzidos, com mais de 300 milhões de discos vendidos.
Em 1997 reescreveu a música “Candle in de Wind”, em homenagem à princesa Diana, falecida naquele ano.
Entre seus principais sucessos estão: “Skyline Pigeon”, “Your Song”, “Sacrifice”, “Rocket Man”, “Daniel”, “Goodbye yellow Brick Road”, “Bennie and the Jets”, “Empty Garden”, e muitos outros.
“Skyline Pigeon” foi uma das primeiras músicas de ELTON JOHN a se tornar popular.
Foi tema da novela “Carinhoso” em 1973, inteiramente no piano e com percussão.
Atualmente é a música de ELTON JOHN, mais conhecida no Brasil.
Em seu Show em São Paulo (2009), para uma plateia de 30 mil pessoas, na apresentação de “Skyline Pigeon”, foi acompanhado pelo público que cantou a música, do início ao fim.
