Detailed instructions for tying the Bugmeister.

Hook: 3X-long nymph hook (here a Dai-Riki 710), size 12.
Thread: 6/0, olive.
Tails/underbody: Elk body hair, cleaned and stacked.
Post: Polypropylene yarn, white.
Body: Rabbit dubbing, ginger.
Underwing: Krystal Flash, pearl, 3 or 4 strands.
Wing: Elk body hair, cleaned and stacked.
Hackle: Dry-fly hackle, golden straw.
Thorax: Peacock herl.
Note: Change the colors to match the naturals.
