Pyeongtaek Plant that is able to manufacture 220,000 or more of fully built units a year consists of Head Office, Manufacturing Factory, R&D Center, Shipping Office, etc. on the land with about 992,000 m². Pyeongtaek Plant is a core base of SsangYong Motor equipped with high efficient manufacturing facilities and systematic quality control system and ‘Mecca of 4WD’ of Korea.

Changwon Plant with about 1,010,000 m² in area consists of the 1st and 2nd plants manufacturing the heart of automobiles, engines. The plant is manufacturing various engines including common rail Di engine (Displacement 2,700cc), XVT engine (Displacement 2,000cc), gasoline engine (Displacement 2,000cc·2,300cc·2,800cc·3,200cc
·3,600cc), etc. and core driving units for 4 wheel drive vehicles and passenger cars such as rear axle, etc.
